Recipes

Build multi-ingredient meals once, then log them as a single entry. Perfect for batch cooking, meal prep, and dishes you make again and again.

Start a new recipe.

Recipes live in their own tab, so everything you cook stays organised and ready to relog in a tap.

  • Tap the Recipes tab, then the “+” button to start a new recipe.
  • Give it a name and an optional total weight.
  • Add ingredients one by one — search the database or enter them manually.

Add ingredients, one at a time.

Every ingredient contributes to the recipe’s running totals, so you always know the full nutrition picture as you build.

  • Search the food database or enter an ingredient manually.
  • Set the weight for each ingredient.
  • Totals update live as you add — calories and macros recalculate instantly.

The pan weight trick.

Cooking loses water and shifts weight, which makes portioning hard. Let the app do the maths: enter the final total weight and it works out the net food weight for you.

  1. Weigh your empty pan or container and note the weight.
  2. Add your food, then weigh pan + food together.
  3. Enter the total weight in the recipe — the app calculates net food weight automatically.
  4. Great for batch cooking: weigh the whole pot, then divide by the number of portions.

Save it — or keep a draft.

Finished recipes need at least one ingredient and a total weight. Not there yet? Save it as a draft and pick up where you left off.

  • Tap Save Recipe to save — this needs at least one ingredient and a total weight.
  • Missing either? Save as Draft keeps it for later.
  • Drafts show a yellow badge in the recipe list — tap one to complete it.
  • Delete a draft any time with the trash icon.
